We are currently seeking a motivated Electronics Trainee to join a world leader in integrated live fire and virtual weapon training systems. Squad in conjuncton with InVeris is recruiting a full-time Weapon Repair Technician to join our team in Lavington NSW that will undertake a Cert II in Electronics. This position includes the day to day repair and servicing of electronic and pneumatic simulation equipment.
About us InVeris Training Solutions (formally Meggitt Training Systems) is a leading simulation and live fire training company. InVeris provides training simulation systems to Defence and law enforcement organisations domestically and internationally. The successful candidate will need to be eligible and have a clear criminal history.
InVeris will provide firearms licence and Defence Security Clearance if successful. The Role: The weapon repair technician role primarily consists of the day-to-day support, servicing and repair of weapon simulators. This role also includes technical support aspects for all simulation equipment and includes installation, servicing and helpdesk support.
The role complies with InVeris vision, policies, procedures, quality standards and contract key performance indicators (KPI’s). Key Responsibilities: The installation, service, helpdesk support, maintenance and repair of weapon simulators. Primary Duties: Repair, assembling and testing of weapon simulators Helpdesk support for weapon simulators Recording and collating of technical information Conduct training for the operation and maintenance of weapon simulators Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the product, processes and quality system Product assessment / evaluation Under supervision undertake product customisation for specific customer requirements Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through the designated channels On-site customer support Participation in customer demonstrations Technical support, installation and commissioning of product in the field both domestically and internationally Other duties as and when required
