RGIT Australia is currently seeking highly motivated and dedicated ELICOS Trainers to join its ELICOS Department at the Melbourne campus. ELICOS Trainers are responsible for teaching English language courses to international students through the English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students program.
If you are interested in applying for the ELICOS Trainer position at RGIT Australia, you are expected to possess the following qualifications and skills:
Qualifications:
- An Australian-recognised degree or higher qualification.
- A TESOL qualification such as CELTA or Certificate IV in TESOL.
Experience and Skills:
- Significant ELICOS teaching experience will be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct student-centered classes.
- Proficiency in teaching English language levels ranging from elementary to upper-intermediate.
- Exceptional classroom management and presentation skills.
Selection Criteria:
- Work experience in a relevant industry will be highly regarded.
- A demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development is important.
- Previous experience in educational and training settings is preferable.
- Familiarity with student management systems is desirable.
To succeed in this role, you should be a highly motivating and engaging individual with exceptional presentation skills. Leadership experience and strong oral and written communication skills are a must.
