We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Embroidery Assistant to join our Rutherford Team and manage the in-house design department. Our in-house designs bring innovation to one of the most demanding industries where the function must meet durability and safety.
Experience is not required as full training will be provided to the right candidate!
Key Responsibilities
- Program embroidery machines and prepare garments for embroidery
- Operation of embroidery machine ensuring all customer orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Support the retail store with customer service when required
- Ensure all Safe Operating Procedures are followed

- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong can-do attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Experience in sewing, embroidery or sewing machines would be ideal, but not essential as training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- MS Office skills - Basic to Intermediate
- Previous experience in a retail and/or embroidery environment
- A passion for customer service and sales
- The ability to work well in a fast paced team environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
