AddressProvides Emergency Management support for OASIS personnel in support to the Joint Security Staff. Serves as a liaison between the customer and site representatives for disaster preparedness and emergency response issues.
- Develop and update Emergency Management documents to include: hazard analysis, emergency action guide, installation Emergency Management plan and annexes, All Hazards Threat Assessment (AHTA), exercise documents and pandemic planning.
- Participates in the Emergency Preparedness Committee, who produces various Emergency Management documentation.
- Liaison with Australian municipalities, State, Federal and other Emergency Management organizations.
- Maintain Emergency Action Room (EAR) and Emergency Off Site Location (EOL). Coordinate and liaison with the Site's Incident Management Team (IMT).
- Provide training to the IMT on various emergency preparedness topics.
- Instruct staff on emergency preparedness procedures.
- Communicate and support customer and site stakeholders on disaster preparedness and emergency response issues.
- Ensure compliance with all site's environmental health and safety requirements. Any other reasonable duties as requested.
Basic Qualifications:
- Active, fully adjudicated Top Security clearance and polygraph; or ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI and poly.
- Citizenship: United States Citizenship (only).
- Relevant experience in Emergency Management, Fire Operations, Business, Engineering, or other Incident Command (ICS) position.
- Experience in hazards identification & screening, consequence assessment, drill an exercise.
- Experience with developing management plans and preparing reports.
- Ability to achieve certification as a Safety Trained Supervisor (STS).
- Computer literacy including MS Excel and Word.
- Ability to work professionally with minimum supervision.
- Equivalent demonstrated experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree.
- Previous Emergency Management Experience and Training.
- Knowledge of Australasian Inter-Service Incident Management System.
- BA/BS in related field, with 5+ years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience or minimum 10 years' experience in disaster and emergency planning.
- Previous experience of working in a Base Operations Support Environment.
- Training in appropriate safety procedures, i.e., Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, Personal Protective Equipment, Lockout/Tagout, Working in Trenches, Working with Heavy Machinery, etc.
