Job Description:
The hospital is currently seeking a talented and dedicated Career Medical Officer to join its team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional healthcare services to patients, particularly within the busy Emergency Department. They will uphold the hospital's values of integrity, respect, and professionalism while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
* Assess, diagnose, and treat patients promptly and effectively, prioritizing cases based on severity.
* Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and specialists, to coordinate patient care plans.
* Adhere to hospital protocols and procedures for emergency care, ensuring patient safety and wellbeing.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Emergency Medicine or a related specialty.
* Minimum hospital experience: PGY7+ / FY7+
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
* Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centred care.
