Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals.
- Greet patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor, ensuring a positive experience from their first point of contact with the medical centre.
- Manage patient appointments, both in person and over the phone, efficiently and accurately.
- Assist with patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring and basic health screenings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the registered nurse or medical team promptly.
- Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and other clinical procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care activities in patient file through practice software.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and holistic care to patients.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and managing inventory.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Previous experience working as an Enrolled Nurse in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
