Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and join Mars in a short-term contract. We have a number a locations to choose from across the Western towns of regional NSW. If you are a passionate, and experienced ED RN looking for a change for a couple of months or even a few weeks, we want to hear from you! This opportunity is for someone looking to take a break from driving through city traffic every day, and work in a a completely different environment for a short stint, or a long one!
What is involved?
As an ED RN, you will be working on a rotating roster, servicing one of the many facilities to choose from across Western NSW regional district. Triaging to prioritise care will be one of your main duties when working in a high-pressure environment. In the first few days, you will be supported by fellow RNs, working together to make sure patients are looked after and their conditions are stable. This will entail assessment and treatment, patient monitoring, and communicating with other RNs, multidisciplinary teams, the patients and the patient's families.
For this contract, we are looking for an RN to start ASAP. Contracts range from 2-12 weeks with the possibility of extension. Accommodation will be provided free of charge, and you will be reimbursed a travel allowance of up-to $250 each way. A daily allowance of $118.15 per day worked is available for all contracts.
If you are available, we need the following:
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Full working rights in Australia (we cannot grant any visa/sponsorship for these temporary roles)
- Credentialed Bachelor of Nursing Degree
- NSW WWCC (or willing to obtain)
- ALS and triage
