About the Role
As an Emergency Response Operator, your primary responsibility will be to promptly respond to customers activating their medical help button. You will assess the need for assistance, coordinate with emergency services, and inform concerned family members.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate in a fast-paced, call-centre environment, demonstrating composure, attention to detail, and professionalism
- Utilise strong communication skills and computer literacy to manage high-priority medical alarm events and inbound calls simultaneously
- Collaborate with emergency services and a diverse clientele
- Follow a rotating roster that includes weekends and public holidays
Skills and Experience
- Proven background in customer service, ideally within a contact centre.
- Comfortable with shift work
- Team player with excellent communication skills and computer proficiency.
- Calm demeanour, meticulous attention to detail, and professional demeanour.
- Capable of handling 8-10 hour shifts encompassing day and night hours.
- Exceptional listening skills and the ability to ask pertinent questions to assess situations accurately
