With a state-of-the-art training facility, highly experienced qualified Trainers and the latest modern technology, they deliver nationally accredited Training and Certificates covering all aspects of Public Safety and Response.
There is a newly created opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the business and spearhead the company’s growth nationally.
As the Business Development Manager for the organisation, you’ll promote the services and Training offering across their key market segments that include Mining, Emergency Services Search and Rescue, Fire Protection and Government. You’ll meet with stakeholders within these sectors to discuss the broad range of Training and the critical value they offer. No day will be the same, you could be selling First Aid courses to smaller businesses, to assisting with large Search and Rescue tenders. You’ll go out to meet clients, and you will also be able to show clients around the on-site training facility. You’ll build networks and a pipeline of long-term clients which will drive sales revenue and expand the businesses operation.
What are we looking for?
As the suitable candidate, you’ll have prior sales experience in one or more of their key market segments (Mining, Emergency Services, Search & Rescue or Fire Protection) selling safety or training related products, and you would have some existing knowledge/networks in one or more of these fields.
You’ll also be able to uncover new business opportunities, tap into new clients and be comfortable doing cold new business and establishing new relationships. You’ll also be able to travel as the role requires. We’re ideally looking for someone based in the Brisbane region so they can work out of the training facility in a hybrid situation, but we would consider a remote based candidate who has the relevant experience and can bring value to the role.
What’s on offer?
It will include a competitive base salary (110k), company car (or allowance), Super, all tools of trade and expenses provided, plus the opportunity for bonuses and commission for agreed KPI/sales targets.
