Reporting to the Employee Relations Manager, this fixed term Employee Relations Specialist role is primarily for the provision of expert advice and support in enterprise agreement negotiations. You will be paid an attractive hourly rate of $700-$750 p/d + super.Your new role
Primarily (in respect of EA negotiations) advice on and execution of:- Negotiation strategy,
- Stakeholder management,
- communications
- Documentation preparation (for both negotiations and approval applications),
- Clause drafting, and
- Management of approval processes
- Workplace relations advice and guidance to HR business partners and managers on day-to-day workplace issues
- Providing advice/training/guidance and case management support to the HR Business Partners
- Supporting business unit teams with negotiations, drafting and settlement of disputes and/or agreements
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in prior enterprise agreement negotiations
- Knowledge of and experience with Fair Work Act provisions regulating making and approval of enterprise agreements
- The ability to interact with union stakeholders, especially the AMWU, ETU, UWU, AWU and Profs Aust.
- High-level research and documentation preparation skills
- Demonstrated skills by building strong, collaborative stakeholder relationships
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to translate specialist ER/IR knowledge into practical, business relevant advice
