This role is based at Perisher, the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere, located in the beautiful Snowy Mountains region of South-Eastern NSW and just a two-hour drive from Canberra and the Far South Coast. Perisher is part of Vail Resorts who own and operate ski areas including iconic resorts including Falls Creek and Hotham in Australia as well as Park City, Beaver Creek, Whistler Blackcomb and Vail in North America.

The Employee Services Coordinator will provide coordination and direction in the delivery of high-quality HR services through appropriate management of resources and a seasonal team providing general People & Culture support and Employee Services initiatives across the Resort. You will have a specific focus on coordinating and directing employee housing activities, including bed allocations, accommodation management and external accommodation negotiations.

In a typical day in this role, you might:

  • Coordinate the employee housing program, including property management and liaising with real estate agents and property owners
  • Coordinate the distribution, use and replacement program for staff uniforms to ensure that appropriate levels of stock are maintained that items are being effectively utilised and that a quality garment is provided to staff.
  • Implement and coordinate a staff Events Calendar to provide for an Experience of a Lifetime for all employees.
  • Provide support to staff and managers on staff conflict, disciplinary matters and where required undertaking investigations into staff incidents.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A tertiary level qualification in Human Resources is desirable.
  • Previous Human Resources and/or property management related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
