About the Role
Edge Employment Solutions is seeking an Employer Consultant to join our team in either a permanent, full-time or part-time basis.
As an Employer Consultant you’ll play a vital role in assisting job seekers with disability to gain and maintain employment. You will:
• Provide personalised support to clients to identify their strengths, skills, and career aspirations
• Identify, implement and maintain strategies to assist clients gain and maintain employment.
• Build relationships with local employers to source job opportunities for our clients
• Initiate reverse marketing efforts to connect job seekers with businesses, resulting in sustainable employment outcomes
• Support clients in the workplace and provide ongoing contact to ensure job retention and success
What We're Looking For
We’re seeking a motivated and empathetic individual who is dedicated to making a difference. The ideal candidate will have:
• A genuine passion for supporting people with disability
• A background in delivering great customer service in face-to-face roles
• Demonstrable communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent marketing and negotiation skills
• Confidence working to KPIs and making placements that result in sustainable and lasting employment for our clients and employers. Experience in vocational guidance, job coaching, or a related filed is advantageous.
