12 Month Parental Leave Position Commencing in May 2024 and Ending 13 Jun 2025
In a typical week in this job, you are likely to do the following things:
- Assess participants barriers to employment and identify their skills, experience, and aspirations to best match them to opportunities within the labour market.
- Motivate, encourage, and coach participants towards their employment goals.
- Ensure participants have the tools and resources required to undertake education or employment.
- General case management of a caseload, to assist participants in meeting their requirements.
- Connect participants to relevant and personalised support services as required, such as mental health counselling, financial counselling, drug & alcohol counselling and domestic violence support groups, as relevant to each program.
- Actively support participants in employment, including ongoing communication with employers as required, with a view to support their employment sustainability.
