Employment Services Coordinator - Tennant Creek

Saltbush Social Enterprises is a not-for-profit organisation leading the way in providing responsive and outcome-focused services particularly to disadvantaged and at-risk Indigenous people and their families.

Through Saltbush Employment Services, our overarching objective is to engage and support employers to develop and sustain their Indigenous workforce to assist Indigenous Australians into long-term work and career development.

As our Employment Services Coordinator in Tennant Creek, you will establish, nurture and grow effective partnerships with suitable employers and stakeholders, while leading a small team to provide professional case management services to Indigenous jobseekers that will successfully provide them the ability to transition into and retain sustainable employment.

Ideally, you will have experience, understanding and success in business development. You will also have experience in working with highly disadvantaged Indigenous job seekers and assisting them to overcome the employment challenges they face in gaining and retaining long-term employment.

As an outcome focussed ‘people person’, you will thrive in your ability to team up great jobs and employers with motivated job seekers.

If you have extensive experience working in the Jobactive, Community Development Program or Disability Employment Services space, or in other roles that have given you a good understanding of this type of work, this could be the challenge you have been looking for.

Essential requirements for this position:

• National Police Clearance
• NT Working with Children (OCHRE) Card
• NT Driver’s Licence
• Current First Aid

The salary is dependent on the skills and experience of an individual specific to the role and location of employment with Saltbush.
