The Organisation
The Central Land Council (CLC) is a representative body promoting Aboriginal rights and provides a number of services for the benefit of traditional owners and other Aboriginal residents of the CLC region. It carries out its statutory functions across the southern half of the NT. Its members belong to more than 15 language groups.
The Staff
CLC employs more than 300 people, including local Aboriginal people with expert traditional knowledge, as well as Lawyers, Anthropologists, Geologists, Accountants, Technology and Education and Information professionals.
As a Commonwealth Government statutory authority, equipped with modern technology and facilities, the Information Services team is recruiting now for an:
INFORMATION SERVICES COORDINATOR (Records and Training)
SO C $107,338.00 progressing $115,905.00
Information Services is responsible for collection storage services and access. This position will provide significant assistance across the organisation in the maintenance and uptake of Central Land Council's (CLC) Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS), its usage, monitoring and reporting through training, education and support.
The position would suit someone with initiative, who is innovative, has a flexible and 'can do'- approach, and who can contribute to a changing environment. It is ideal for an Information Professional or from a related field. If you have team leading experience, we would like to hear from you.
The role is based in CLC's main office in Alice Springs, surrounded by the amazing landscapes of Central Australia.

Total effective package includes: base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, relocation assistance, annual airfare allowance and salary packaging options. Annual progression within the salary scale is subject to satisfactory performance. Progression is in accordance with annual increments set out in an enterprise agreement.
