About the Role
As the Desktop Support Team Leader, you will oversee a team of End-User Computing (EUC) engineers spanning Australia and New Zealand. Your role will be instrumental in the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our organisation's infrastructure. Collaborating closely with a talented team of leaders, you will actively contribute to delivering mission-critical services, guaranteeing the highest standards of availability, performance, and security for our desktop support systems.

- The successful candidate will be required to undergo background and a National Criminal History Check
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor Australian and New Zealand End-User Computing Team.
- Manage and monitor global End-User Computing Queues
- Proactive management of escalations and problems that arise within the end-User Computing Team
- Manage and monitor desktop hardware and software
- Relocation of hardware or replacement of faulty parts.
- Installed, configured, tested, and maintained operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Provide 2nd-level support with the option to escalate to 3rd-tier staff
- Provide on-site help to 3rd level team with any infrastructure-related work
- Involvement in BAU projects and work effectively to targets and deadlines
- Maintain a strong client/internal customer focus
Key Skills and Attributes Required:
- Substantial experience within similar role
- Customer-centric mindset, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Wintel / SCCM/Active Directory
- End User Operating Systems (Win 10 /Google os)
- ITIL
