About the roleAs the
Ranger Team Leader, you will lead a team of staff in the delivery of high quality land management services, with support and under the direction of the Area Chief Ranger. You will play a key role in ensuring we continue to deliver our on-ground services.In this position, you will demonstrate a strong personal work ethic for team members to follow and ensure that employees maintain a high standard of personal accountability and compliance with the Code of Conduct. You will be responsible for guiding the team, to inspire enthusiasm, to ensure their safety and welfare and to ensure they are appreciated for their efforts. The position is responsible for ‘hands on' people management which includes leading, managing and developing the team which may include ongoing employees, contractors, casuals, temporary staff and/or volunteers.About Parks VictoriaParks Victoria's vision is to be a world-class parks service, ensuring healthy parks for healthy people. We're looking for someone with:- Tertiary qualification in Science or equivalent is highly desirable
- Strong Leadership skills and stakeholder relationship management
- Land Management experience or equivalent experience in operational services
