About the Role
Bucketts Way Neighbourhood Group Inc. (BWNG) seeks to expand our Ageing and Disability Services Team with the addition of a flexible and caring Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to provide in-home nursing services on a casual basis.

BWNG is an award-winning multi-service non-profit organisation located in Gloucester NSW. We provide Ageing and Disability Services as well as hardship assistance to the residents of Gloucester and surrounds.
As locals looking after locals our objective is to achieve positive outcomes for our clients and participants, plus help our community members maintain their independence and remain living in their own homes for as long as possible.

Qualifications
- Certificate IV or Diploma of Nursing with current APHRA registration
- Current First Aid Certificate.
Experience
- Although not essential, experience providing care to the frail-aged, or people with disability would be an advantage.
Skills
- Ability to organise, practise and complete nursing functions in stable situations with limited direct supervision.
- Observation and assessment skills to recognise and report deviations from stable conditions.
- Flexibility in the capacity to undertake work across the broad range of nursing activity and/or competency in a specialised area of practice.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to assist in meeting psychosocial needs.
- Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to be organised, and prioritise work tasks.
- Team player who is comfortable working in a semi-autonomous role.
- Ability to develop a courteous rapport with others.
- Ability to develop professional boundaries with clients and their family.

- Class C Driver’s Licence
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check upon employment

- Willingness to comply with BWNG’s vaccination policy including three COVID 19 vaccinations and Influenza vaccination.
