We are looking for a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist with a desire to immerse themselves in aged care, community care and private practice to join our diverse team.
With a special focus on embracing newly graduated professionals, we offer a supportive environment to allow a smooth transition into the work force, to ensure a positive working experience.
The role is varied, with a clinical workload in aged care, community care services, and private clients in our state-of-the-art health club for over 60s, located in Ashburton, making this a highly motivating and rewarding role.

What does the job involve
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments and treatment plans
- Develop rehabilitation and wellness programs, both on site and home care
- Run exercise-based programs
- Residential aged care pain management, enablement, falls prevention and balance programs.
- Provide evidence-based, hands-on therapy to a broad patient population, including community and home-based clients
- Delivery of health management programs using state-of-the-art equipment and facilities
- Provide mentorship and supervision to junior team members. for those candidates with experience they can pass on and teach
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy or Exercise Science
- Aged care and Private Practice experience desirable - GRADUATES are encouraged to apply as we provide full onboarding, training and mentoring
- Fully Registered with AHPRA - General Registration ONLY
- ESSA-certified (for Exercise Physiologists)
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that develop a rapport with clients
- Must be willing to travel to client's sites as part of their role
- A desire to provide premium client care and experiences
