Applications Close: 1 May 2024What you'll be doingThe Discharge Lounge provides short term care and supervision for patients waiting to be discharged from the hospital. The EEN liaises with the Nursing Unit Managers, nursing staff, medical teams and patient flow manager to identify and transfer patients to the Discharge Lounge from the inpatient units at the earliest time of day possible. The key responsibility of the EEN is to provide nursing care for patients in a safe and competent manner. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Recent acute clinical experience, preferably across a variety of hospital settings.
