AddressPrimo Foods are seeking a Quality Control to join the Operations team in Chullora, Sydney. This role is responsible for efficient routine checks to ensure food is prepared according to food safety regulations.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Conduct pre-operational and operational checks in the section assigned in a daily basis
- Inspect equipment, products or production lines to ensure food is prepared according to food safety regulations
- Conduct checks on GMPs, follow HACCP and other production processes to ensure safe and quality products are produced
- Conduct routine checks on product, such as temperature, weight, seal and product gas, following the guideline for each product
- Assist in the investigation of customer complaints
- Ensure that all QC/Process Control procedures are conducted and where required the results are recorded
- Ensure that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained
About you:
- Previous experience within the food industry is advantageous.
- Attention to details and discipline
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive and positive attitude
- A strong sense of accountability and responsibility
- Ability to follow processes and procedures
- Strong motivation to learn about Food Safety and Quality Standards
