Job Summary:
The Nurse Unit Manager - Endoscopy is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the newly opened Endoscopy Unit in Springwood, QLD.
This leadership position involves managing a team of nurses, coordinating patient care, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision:
- Provide leadership to the Endoscopy Unit staff, including nurses and support personnel.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support for professional development.
- Patient Care Coordination:
- Coordinate and manage the delivery of patient care in the Endoscopy Unit.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout their Endoscopy experience.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and uphold quality standards and protocols for Endoscopy procedures.
- Monitor and assess the quality of nursing care, making adjustments as needed to maintain high standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Resource Management:
- Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including staff, equipment, and supplies.
- Oversee scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels for the Endoscopy Unit.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license.
- Previous experience in endoscopy nursing and leadership roles.
