This role will be key supporting the implementation of the energy alliance with Origin Energy. This is a landmark project that will help Coles achieve ambitious sustainability targets. Working closely with the project team you will be responsible for;
- Working closely with external partnership stakeholders, supporting with development of longer-term strategy and partnership development
- Support Coles Energy Managers in tracking energy certificates inventory balance
- Supporting data collection against program KPIs, also providing technical support to Project managers and administration needs.
- Identifying opportunities and innovations within the Energy portfolio
- Assist with partnership financial reporting, including the tracking of cost savings, revenue, and costs across projects to measure Alliance returns in line with projections
- Assist in contractor management of Coles certificate creator contractor, sourcing data requests and working with relevant project teams
- Assisting with quarterly reporting on project delivery.
- Tertiary qualification with strong numerical elements (e.g. finance, IT, engineering, business, law)
- Passion for sustainability, climate change, energy and innovation
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated organisation and problem-solving skills, with an ability to connect and communicate data with real world events and implications.
- Ability to operate and adapt within a fast-paced culture of change.
- Technical understanding of critical environmental sustainability topics, including climate change and emissions in Australia.
