Job description – Energy Analyst
As an Energy Analyst, you will play an important role in assisting with numerical analysis to support the team on an electrification program. You will play an active role in establishing project scope and feasibility, drafting recommendation reports, and project implementation.
This is an excellent learning opportunity to understand the challenges and opportunities of retrofitting existing buildings to reduce their energy and carbon footprint.
Job responsibilities – Energy Analyst
As an Energy Analyst, your role will include the following tasks, but not be limited to:
- Supporting the team on an electrification program for built environments
- Working with visualisation data tools (PowerBI, GIS)
- Assisting project managers with project scope from ideation and feasibility, through to implementation and ultimately practical completion
- Supporting site managers on-site when needed
- Assisting in preparing documentation
- Preparation of materials to support ongoing budgeting, programming, and stakeholder reporting
Job requirements – Energy Analyst
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong data analysis and Excel skills are essential
- Proficiency with data visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI, GIS)
- An interest in sustainability
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office
- Strong time management and organisation skills
- A team player
- Ability to operate independently and be self-motivated
- Competitive starting salary of $70,000 - $75,000 + Super
