About the role:Reporting to the ERP & Reporting Manager, this role focuses on supporting the development and enhancement of Origin ERP, with an emphasis on, but not limited to, Accounts Payable (including Vendor Invoice Management and Concur), Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Banking services, General Ledger, Project Systems, Time sheeting (CATS), Asset Accounting, Joint Venture Accounting, HCM and Group Reporting.Why this role matters?
- Lead the development and execution of Origin's ERP SAP S/4 Hana and associated ecosystem, including interface management.
- Design, develop, configure and test solutions to address operational issues, enhancements and incident responses, providing business and project support.
- Proactively review, refine and assess enhancement backlog while identifying business process improvements.
- Influence and mentor level 1 & 2 functional analysts (and Service Provide teams) with BAU ITIL processes, solutioning and SAP best practices.
- Undertake business process engineering and assist the business with development and improvement of procedures, maximising value from our ERP ecosystem.
- Collaborate with IT, the business and external vendors to direct and develop effective and efficient system solutions for business requirements, while maximising the benefits of Origin Energy's SAP systems.
- Play a dynamic, engaged and management role in AGILE / Scrum ceremonies and techniques.
- Take accountability, governance and ownership over deployed changes, enforcing SAP standard ethos within the ecosystem and driving innovation planning and adoption.
- Utilize extensive business and technical experience in all areas to provide support and outcomes for Origin business.
- Look for and drive opportunities to reduce waste in the organisation through better utilisation software, tools and process.
What will you bring?You are an experienced professional with a tertiary qualification in business or equivalent discipline, with at least 5 years as a Senior Functional Analyst specializing in SAP
S/4HANA.
- 15+ years demonstrated experience, with 5+ years as a Senior Functional Analyst or equivalent supporting SAP S/4HANA.
- Certification in SAP S/4 HANA FICO.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ERP This role focuses on the ERP Finance processes with an emphasis on, but not limited to, Accounts Payable (including Vendor Invoice Management) Concur, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Banking services and their integration.
- Proven expertise In DevOps methodologies, encompassing CI/CD Implementation.
- Analytical skills with the ability to translate data into valuable information for management.
- Passionate and interested in ERP in the energy industry and a good understanding of global standards and best practice.
- Demonstrated experience in ITIL processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communications and customer service focus.
- Excellent ability to undertake problem resolution and enhancements using IT procedures based on development lifecycle principles across various IT and Business teams.
- Practical experience in Agile project management methodologies.
