About the role:
As an Energy Credit Specialist, you’ll conduct respectful, efficient, and effective debt minimisation activities. Taking full responsibility for all issues that you come across (end-to-end) and ensuring that you achieve the best outcome for the customer and our business. You’ll also be the first line of defence in ensuring that our business meets its compliance and regulatory obligations under relevant bodies.
Why this role matters:
Providing end-to-end credit solutions for our customers in an omni channel environment using Kraken technology; and acting as subject matter expertise to assist Energy Specialists when required.
Credit solution activities including but not limited to: de-energisation assessments & re-energisation enquires; payments and hardship; bankruptcy & insolvency; default disputes; credit complaints; collections case management. At a later stage this may include credit assessment and fraud / high risk assessment.
As part of a highly effective autonomous team, you provide outrageously good service to particular customer groups and provide continuous feedback on opportunities and highlighting inefficiencies to improve the customer experience.
Be curious, ask questions to explore and actively seek information to determine the best solution for the customer groups.
What will you bring?
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to talk to customers across multiple platforms including email, social and other platforms.
Able to apply a commercial lens to every customer interaction, always considering and minimizing risk (including compliance obligations) and actively applying discretion when needed to achieve the best financial outcome.
You’re a lateral thinker, thinking for yourself, the team, and the business, with a clear focus on delivering and improving the customer experience, demonstrating a real concern for the customer.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills including a demonstrated ability to actively listen, and problem solve.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and technologies.
