UON is currently seeking experienced and self-motivated Electrician Supervisor to join our Energy-Yard team at UON’s Malaga Facility in the below conditions:

- A Grade Electrical License.
- 3-5+ years’ working in a supervisory capacity, preferably on Mine Sites.
- Cert IV in Management/ Leadership Training Preferred
- Ability to mentor and lead a team of Electricians
- Current and valid driver’s license
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical at all times.
- HV switching.
- Experience with submersible pump installations.
- Cable splicing & joining
- Experience in Power Generation / Diesel Generator fault finding and repair
- Experience in renewable energy field.
- Experience in the mining and resources industry - desirable.
- Excellent HSE compliance and ability to work unsupervised
- Undertake planned and adhoc electrical assembly installation & commissioning of UON products as required.
- Travel away from Home to site or stay at the Perth base Yard and WA mine sites as per work needs.
- Installation and commissioning of UON products in workshop/ Yard and WA mine sites.
- Compliance with WA Mines Safety and Inspections Act and Regulations and Duty of Care
- Ensure employees receive adequate training and instruction to perform their work
- Assist in work planning, scheduling and resource allocation with a focus on the weekly electrical maintenance plan
- Accept statutory appointment as an Electrical Supervisor and ensure compliance with associated statutory responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the electrical activities ensuring productive and quality work outputs
- Read and understand electrical drawings and specifications
- Testing and Fault finding of UON products.
- Provide technical advice
- Ensure electrical equipment is tested and tagged correctly in line with applicable legislation.
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to HR, QA, HSE and other relevant systems.
- Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
- Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
- Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
- Good knowledge of power generation system.
- Good knowledge of various test equipment.
