Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Solar, Battery, and Controller System Designer to join our team in Canberra or work remotely. As a System Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, customising, and selling Reposit's No Bill Guarantee solution to cater to our customers' unique energy needs. Your expertise in solar and battery design, coupled with your sales and customer service experience, will contribute to our commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer solar and battery systems based on customer requirements, site assessments, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to understand customer needs and provide expert guidance and support throughout the sales process.
• Develop accurate and detailed system designs, including equipment selection, wiring diagrams, and energy modelling.
• Coordinate with installation teams to ensure proper system installation and compliance with industry standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in solar and battery systems.

Requirements:

• Proven experience and qualifications in solar and battery system design.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, battery storage systems, and associated components.
• Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
• Proficiency in using solar design software and tools.
• Familiarity with relevant Australian standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with customers, sales teams, and installation crews.
• Ability to work independently and remotely while also being a collaborative team player.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address customer needs and optimise system designs.
