Pay rate: $81.25 - $93.75/hr + super
Duration: 12-months
Hrs/ week: 35
Location: Sydney CBD + WFH

RESPONSIBILTIES:


  • Developing targeted messaging campaigns aimed at persuading individuals to change their behaviours. 
  • Utilising data analytics and research to understand current patterns and identify opportunities for behaviour change.
  • Develop communication and stakeholder engagement strategies and plans, including the identification of educational and promotional information, to assist in the management of community information and engagement needs.
  • Work in partnership with communication managers and officers to develop and maintain an integrated regional communications project list and calendar and to manage communications activities to time, cost and budget
  • Devise, coordinate, deliver and evaluate the effectiveness of events, workshops, campaigns and community consultation activities to maximise community engagement and feedback, including customer information; community consultation; internal communication; issues management and liaison with the media unit; and online and digital strategies.
  • Contribute to the implementation of a program of community education and capacity building initiatives by facilitating a range of meetings and forums and identifying ways to assist the community to participate in projects.
  • Provide advice and participate in the NSW Government communities of practice to improve and enhance the delivery of Agency communication services to the community.
  • Build and maintain collaborative and consultative working relationships with external stakeholders, including specific subject or topic associations and community groups, to promote open communications and facilitate delivery of best practice communication and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Deliver branch administration, such as approval processes, invoicing and work in progress documents, and monitor and report on all communication and engagement activity to support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Collaborate with program leaders to manage state-wide community consultation and education initiatives, performance improvement programs, and the delivery of community engagement to understand and meet customer and stakeholder management priorities.

Requirements: 
  • Customer behavioural change experience 
  • Government experience is preferred
