We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified High School English Tutor at our Kip McGrath Rockingham centre.

Programs are individually tailored to the needs of each student, offering remediation, consolidation and extension learning in numeracy and English.
JOB TITLE: Tutor
CENTRE LOCATION: 10/2 Smeaton way, Rockingham
What you will be doing:
-Tutoring English to a group of 3 to 5 students per session
-Teaching students using the Kip McGrath methodology
-Tutoring students in a positive, caring manner to promote self esteem and self worth
-Use our state of the art software to plan and conduct lessons - saving you on prep time!
-Use your strong rapport building skills to develop and maintain a positive relationship with students and parents.
-Keeping an accurate record online of your students progress and goals on a weekly basis
-Provide verbal and written feedback to parents.
-Work up to 3 sessions a day.
Your requirements:
- Tertiary Qualification in Teaching or Education (or similar)
- A current Working with Children Check
- A friendly, professional and personable manner
- Demonstrate a positive, vibrant personality
- Confidence using software and computers
- Genuine love for learning and teaching
- Reliable, high attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Hours of work:
We teach students after school on weekdays and Saturday morning.
In particular we are looking for:
Tuesday and Wednesday
Lesson 1- 3:30pm to 4:30pm
Lesson 2- 4:40pm to 5:40pm
Lesson 3- 5:50pm to 6:50pm
The ideal candidate would be available to teach all 3 classes.
