About the role
EIC is in an enviable position to provide Structural Engineering design solutions to a variety of complex and challenging CIMIC Group projects.
EIC Activities is currently looking across Australia for experienced Structural Engineers at all levels to join our Structures team based in Sydney, Brisbane and/or Melbourne.
As part of the team, you will provide a competitive advantage for profitable projects that generate value for clients, leverage the CIMIC Group’s collective experience, technical capabilities and leading technologies.
In these roles, you will provide technical guidance and leadership to our Structures Design Team including:
- Leading analysis of complex bridge, underground, tunnels and staged construction engineering for heavy civil infrastructure and resource projects across Australasia and SE Asia
- Liaise directly with construction teams in delivery
- Innovative and provide alternative solutions to optimise designs for construction
- Incorporate innovative construction methods into projects and tenders
- Establish strong structural design capability and leading the service offering
As a Structural Engineer you’ll support major transport, resource and building projects, mitigate risks and identifying opportunities to create value.
About you
Ideally you will:
- Have 2 - 10 years prior experience in adapting technology to deliver outstanding results in Structural Engineering
- Be able to innovative and propose creative solutions
- Have strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Have the ability to deliver high quality outcomes, be outcome driven, and self-motivated
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in the field of Structural Engineering
- Have solid foundation experience in construction practices and Structural Engineering design
