About the role
This is a rare opportunity to join a values’ driven organisation and support the delivery of outstanding customer-focused care. Reporting to the Executive Manager, Operations, the Regional Manager, Business Services is responsible for managing the operations of Mikarie Childcare Centre, our day programs and Sutherland Multipurpose Centre and Flexible Support Services; all largely within the Sutherland Shire.
You will operationalise Sylvanvale’s strategy to ensure high quality outcomes are achieved for the people we support, by developing and implementing plans and overseeing all operational activities to:
- Maximise the experience and outcomes of the people we support through a person centred, active support framework.
- Ensure a consistent, stable, competent and empowered workforce and a constructive culture
- Motivate, coach and develop teams to work effectively
- Maintain all quality standards to meet the expectations of the people we support
- Effectively and efficiently resolve issues, building trust and confidence for the people we support
- Implement performance monitoring, measurement and evaluation systems to demonstrate best practice
- Identify, mitigate and manage risk

- Solid experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualification in a related field
- Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework
- Commitment to customer-centred service delivery
- Proven track record in building and maintaining highly effective teams
- Demonstrated budgeting skills and the capacity to interpret financial performance data
- Ability to work independently, organise competing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Accurate report writing skills with the ability to produce quality reports and submissions
- Demonstrated understanding of Work Health and Safety policy and risk management processes

- Salary range $150,000 to $160,000 pa package. The latter including salary packaging.
