We are seeking an Engineering Estimator Manager to join our friendly, professional and highly driven team to focus on generating revenue by developing market potential through design and performance led project proposals.
Reporting to the National Sales Director - External Environments, your main responsibilities will include:
- Develop performance led technical proposals with our 2D and 3D manufacturing processes
- Provide detailed construction build ups to meet clients architectural, thermal, acoustic and structural requirements
- Assist the Business Development team through client support of our Kingspan range
- Collaborate with the Project Management team to estimate the cost of materials, labour and supply needs to meet budgetary requirements
- Provide technical input throughout the project design and development process
- Identify market potential and gaps in our own technical sales suite
- Track and report on client projects using SalesForce CRM, cost, margins, site reports
- Deliver on margin targets by developing and converting specifications to designs.
About You:
- 3 + years' experience in a similar engineering or estimating role
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or construction studies preferred
- Require expertise in AutoCAD (2D and 3D), VBA and Database Management
- Experience with standing seam systems, insulated panels is preferable
- Knowledge of commonly used building concepts in construction
- Extract relevant specification, prepare detailed BOQ, Pricing and Quotations
- Research potential risks and impacts from the scope of the project and develops a plan to address concerns
- Great time management skills and the ability to self-manage your workload
- Highly effective presentation and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the adaptable communication style
- Excellent computer literacy including CRM systems
- Current Drivers Licence

Salary being offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience and is between $85,000 - $95,000 + super
