Allshelter are now ready to make a strategic hire by introducing an Engineering Manager to take a leadership role based at Erskine Park, Sydney.
The ideal applicant will be a proven Manager with recognized qualifications as a Structural Engineer with a solid technical aptitude who can lead, train and inspire a team while embodying a practical all hands-on deck personal approach.
The end goal is to enable a team dynamic where everyone is valued and communication internally and with external stakeholders is constantly refined resulting in enhanced productivity and quality, reduced risk, and a team that constantly evolves.
The Engineering Manager will fastidiously ensure that attention to detail is paramount at every stage of the process from estimating, design, drafting and structural certification.
SKILLS & REQUIRMENTS:
- A proven track record as a Team Leader / Engineering Manager of a manufacturing facility
- A history of success as a technically focused Structural Engineer who has the capacity to produce practical design solutions.
- A thorough knowledge of estimating, costing and budgets
- An ability to accomplish cost-effective, safe designs that align with the company brand.
- Adherence to timeframes and meeting deadlines
- A proven record of leading a team to mitigate risk for all engineering and design decisions.
- A superb eye for detail, outstanding time management and organizational skills
- A robust working knowledge of supply chain and sales and after sales efficiencies
- A familiarity of relevant software applications required for the smooth running of a manufacturing facility.
