We are an engineering consultancy firm based Regional NSW and offer a range of engineering design services, drafting, architecture and project management. Our expertise extends across both public & private sectors, with previous experience in residential, commercial, industrial, agriculture, mining, roads, rail & education projects.
We are looking to further grow our team by adding a Commercial Manager. This person should be; interested in long-term employment, keen to learn and have ambition to develop themselves further as the company grows. The work offers broad exposure to structural, civil, mechanical engineering designs, architecture, detailing, point cloud survey and project management services across an array of industries.
Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities and duties of this position are set out below:
- Contribute to the development of scalable company structures and systems to sustainably manage our rapidly growing business
- Successfully deliver project tenders, proposals, contract awards and contract administration
- Develop strategies to ensure competitive pricing and understanding of market position
- Provide guidance and analytics on company, department and individual performance and efficiencies
- Assist teams with precise and timely project control services, encompassing: estimating, scheduling and cost management
- Provide guidance on commercial best practices
- Foster a culture centred on client value, product quality and positive communication
- Strong computer skills
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Uphold company quality and safety standards
About You:
- Degree or equivalent in commerce, law, project management or Business Administration
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships
- Substantial contracting expertise, including in a project setting overseeing high value/complex contracts
- Extensive knowledge and proven understanding of contract management
- Advanced capabilities in analysis and strategic business planning
- Ability to work both independently & collaboratively
- Excellent attention to detail
