We're seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to spearhead our transformative initiatives. With a minimum of $500 million Design & Construction (D&C) experience, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in the planning, design, and execution of complex projects, from concept development through to completion.
- Technical Expertise: Apply your deep understanding of engineering principles and practices to solve complex challenges and optimize project outcomes. Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities to enhance project success.
- Budget and Schedule Management: Monitor project budgets and schedules, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure engineering designs and solutions meet regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client expectations for safety, reliability, and performance.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop engineering team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and collaboration.
- Extensive Project Experience: You must have a minimum of $500 million D&C project experience, demonstrating your ability to manage complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Sector Expertise: While not mandatory, experience in the energy sector, particularly in high voltage (HV) transmission projects, is highly preferred. Your familiarity with these areas will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge solutions.
- Technical Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering is required. Your solid engineering background will underpin your ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively.
