SalaryA great opportunity has arisen to join a leading international company in their Facilities Management & Building Maintenance division, providing services to a major Government client.The Role:
Responsible for a large single site with multiple buildings, High Voltage kit, ensuring general inspection, preventative and reactive maintenance requirements are met for commercial sized equipment.In a client facing role, this Engineering Manager will run the Engineering Operations of the site and manage a large technical trades team.The Duties:
- Oversee a team of 3 managers to deliver MEP maintenance services
- Client facing, maintain good relationships through regular communication, reporting and advice
- Ensure the daily operations requirements and contractual obligations are met
- Manage technical projects
- Supervise powered shutdowns
- Oversight of emergency reactive maintenance
- Safety and reliability are priorities!
- Holds a Tertiary degree in Engineering (Electrical, Building Services, Mechanical etc.)
- Must be able to read single line diagrams
- Has HV experience and ideally formal HV training
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- With prior experience in engineering and maintenance operations
- Possesses 10 years' experience in relevant industry e.g. Facilities Management / Building Services Engineering, Hotels, Hospitals, University Campuses, Research Facilities or Large Defence sites.
- Salary is posed in the Mid to High $100k's + Super
- Largely an onsite role with some work from home flexibility
