Engineering Operator (Qualified Mechanical Fitter & Cnc Operator)

In this role, you'll:

Working as part of a team delivering a wide range of engineering based mechanical stream skills and competencies to achieve project completion deadlines to standard, within budget, time and cost, in order to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of Rail Equipment Centre targets.

You will assist manufacturing, repairing, refurbishing signaling equipments and other components that is used throughout the Sydney Trains network.

This is a permanent full time role based at Strathfield onsite with lot of opportunities for overtime. Standard shift times 7.15am to 3.45pm Mon to Fri.

About you

Demonstrated experience in mechanical fitting and CNC milling and/or Lathe preferably from heavy engineering background and in a production environment.
Knowledge of and ability to interpret engineering drawing.
Certificate 3 in Mechanical trade.

Any or all of the below skills are highly desirable.
Apply protective coating/painting experience, Welding, Fork Lift License, basic understanding of electrical components, Knowledge or experience in Pneumatics and water jet profile cutting experience.
