Engineering Training Administration Officer

Rex is Australia’s largest independent regional and domestic airline operating a fleet of 58 Saab 340 and 10 Boeing 737-800NG aircraft to 57 destinations throughout all states in Australia. In addition to the airline Rex, the Rex Group comprises wholly owned subsidiaries Pel-Air Aviation (air freight, aeromedical and charter operator) and the two pilot academies, Australian Airline Pilot Academy in Wagga Wagga and Ballarat.

Rex is seeking a suitably experienced and motivated individual in the full-time role of Engineering Training Administration Officer.  This position is based in Wagga Wagga, NSW.  Other locations may be considered for the right candidate.

Reporting:

This position reports to Engineering Training Manager and General Manager, Engineering.

Position Responsibilities

• Coordination of apprentice training
• Administration and maintenance of Engineering Training CBTs
• Creation of Engineering Training CBTs, training materials and Power Point presentations utilizing the assistance of appropriate technical Subject Matter Experts
• Administration of Engineering Training examination questions
• Assessment of training requirements for component maintenance in conjunction with the relevant Technical Support Engineer
• Administration of training manual currency and training manual reviews
• Creation of Training Instructions
• Administration and Maintenance of Engineering Training Records
• Initiation and monitoring of Company Authorization issuing and renewals
• Other Duties as reasonably requested or instructed by the General Manager Engineering or Engineering Training Manager.
