About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager – Asset and Defect Management, we have exceptional opportunities for Project Engineers to join our Asset Management team. These roles will be instrumental and act as a key interface between MTS Engineering and Maintenance Delivery and the Design & Construction team in supporting the Operational Readiness phase of the City & Southwest expansion for MTS.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Interface with Design & Construction (D&C) teams responsible for the CSW network development.
- Work collaboratively with other departments within MTS to close out issues and defects throughout the CSW network. Identification and notification of defects with relevant stakeholders, including notification of noncompliance with standards and other documentation.
- Utilise experienced personnel within MTS to provide advice on closure of issues and defects.
- Assist with fault reporting and closeout through Ellipse, by following up with responsible workgroups.
- Reporting on the progress of Build and T&C activities within CSW developments.
- Assist in the development and implementation of processes, and procedures for use within the CSW by MTS Engineering and operations teams.
- Assist EMD in the acceptance of the handover or hand back of assets.
- Assist with the fit-out of station and depot facilities to support MTS operational phase. Support EMD with the collation of documentation from D&C contractors
- Assist in the validation of supplied documentation to ensure asset lists and procedures are correct.
- Support Document Controllers with the upload of Documentation into the Document Management System (DMS).
- Assist in quality assurance for the Asset Information System (AIS) and the validation of Asset Data.
About You
An Engineering graduate, you have superior computer literacy skills including Microsoft Windows (EXCEL) and Office packages together with relevant industry packages and asset management systems. Ideally, you have demonstrated experience in capturing and tracking asset management activities within railway or large-scale infrastructure projects with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are being met.
A superior communicator, you have exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to provide authoritative advice, influence and negotiate with diverse internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
