About the Role
Albury Wodonga Health – Albury Day Surgery Unit requires a Enrolled Nurse to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for staff that would like to consider additional career opportunities, expand their clinical skills and work within a dynamic environment. Principal responsibilities include fulfill on call requirements, participate in daily provision of perioperative & day surgery services, patient care and advocacy, teamwork & communication.
Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:
- Relevant experience in Day Surgery Nursing.
- Intravenous cannulation experience
Core Selection Criteria we are looking for are:
- Current registration as a Enrolled Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team structure in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Computer Literacy
- Demonstrated commitment to, understanding and knowledge of:
- Quality improvement with the ability to develop and implement initiatives of continuous Quality improvement within the designated area of work.
- Staff development and Practice Development Principles.
- Research to inform Evidence Based Best Practice.
