The Role
We are looking for Permanent Part Time and Full Time Registered Nurses who are passionate about a person-centered approach to care, to join our 88-bed facility in Kempsey NSW. You must be dedicated to working and understanding the residential aged care environment and standards. We have a range of shifts available and a culture of high-level empathy and compassion for our residents.
The Location
Kempsey, New South Wales, is a charming town situated on the Mid North Coast of the state. Known for its scenic beauty along the Macleay River, Kempsey offers a blend of natural landscapes and a rich cultural heritage.
What you will do:
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring:
- Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and their representatives
- Development and evaluation of individualized resident care plans
- Supervision and support for Care Workers
- Clinical care, including wound management, palliative care, and medication management
- Liaison with medical and allied health care staff
- Provision of safe, high-quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Positive resident experience through a resident-first approach
- Registration with the AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse is mandatory
- Minimum experience: One-year of experience as a Enrolled Nurse in a residential aged care setting.
- Desirable experience: Two-years of experience as a Enrolled Nurse in a residential aged care setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Hold NDIS Worker Checks (or willing to obtain)
- Be passionate about delivering a person-centred approach to care
- Contract Type: Permanent Part Time and Full Time contract
- Hours: Full time and part time hours
- Range: $34.13 - $36.57 (Depending on experience) + 11% Superannuation+ NFP salary packaging + allowances
