Mercy Community Residential Aged Care Services supports and inspires people in need to live healthy lives within inclusive communities. Our services span the continuum of aged care and believe a big part of what we do is to help our Residents flourish. We are presently looking for the right people to support our Residents as part of our Residential Aged Care team at our Facility at Nudgee.
As a motivated and passionate Enrolled Nurse, you’ll provide person-centred care and work closely with our Registered Nurses to improve the independence and quality of life of all our Residents.
$ 33.14 - $34.50 per hour plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available
What you’ll be doing
- Providing excellent care to our Residents, meeting their needs by following care plans and working alongside our team of Carers and interdisciplinary team
- Supervising and administering medication safely & effectively
- Engaging with Residents and their families ensuring Residents wellbeing
- Producing accurate Progress Notes, incident reports and other documentation
- Preparing documentation required for the Australian National – Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) funding model so care delivery to our Residents is optimised
About you:
- Diploma of Nursing or equivalent with current registration with AHPRA
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including night duty
- Knowledge and understanding of risk identification and management
- Good understanding of AN-ACC documentation preparation

We work in partnership with the Australian College of Nursing to deliver their free Aged Care Transition to Practice program to all Graduate Nurses. As a successful applicant to this course, you are eligible to nine paid study days, this course articulates into points towards a Graduate Diploma and/or Master’s Degree.
