Enterprise Application Architect

A 12-month contract of an Enterprise Application Architect working for a local council based in Sydney.

Your new role

As an Enterprise Application Architect, your role is to provide expert technical advice, with a focus on application and integration architectures, and the establishment and maintenance of a robust and scalable ICT architecture that will assist ICT strategies, product selection and solution enhancements. You will provide expert advice on enterprise architecture practices including reference models, design patterns, industry trends, application design, integration methods and toolsets.

What you need to succeed

• Experience assessing of IT solutions and their capabilities and features including data management, document management, collaboration, content management, web systems, integration services and methods and security management
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences. Some experience of with working with Board level stakeholders
• Experience of developing Services Oriented Architectures (SOA)
• Working knowledge of infrastructure including servers, storage, firewalls, load balancers, routers, etc
• Ideally formal qualification in Enterprise Architecture (e.g. TOGAF) or formal qualifications in technology
