Vesta Community Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled professional to support individuals with disabilities, helping them to develop life and work skills, and providing ethical counselling and social work services. We are a close team and work with the Vesta Values of kindness, fairness and respect.
This role offers the flexibility to work in the community and from our Vesta CC office in North Lakes.
FULL training SLES (School Leaver Employment Services) provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver SLES (school leaver employment services) to assist NDIS participants with learning life and work skills.
- Provide Counselling and Social work sessions tailored to participants needs to goal.
- Collaborate with our team to provide Feedback and reports on participant progress.
- Manage and deliver educational sessions, both theoretical and practical
- Maintain accurate records and liaise with our multidisciplinary team as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors or Maters in Social Work essential
- Registered or eligible to register for AASW registration.
- Familiar with the NDIS framework
- First Aid, CPR, Blue Card, NDIS worker screening needs to be obtained.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
SKILLS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
EXPECTATIONS
- Timely completion of administration tasks and adherence to Vesta CC policies
- Ethical delivery of services with prompt reporting of any concern
- Professional conduct and personal presentation
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Own laptop and own mobile phone
- Use of personal vehicle for participant services and must have comprehensive car insurance.
