About the role: As an Enterprise Architect you will ensure that Aurizon’s IT strategy is aligned and meets the organisations strategic goals. This includes maintaining Aurizon’s Enterprise Architecture framework and partnering collaboratively across teams to ensure a holistic approach to technology architecture and business capability development.
- Provide strategic management and delivery of Information Technology (IT) Solutions and Services that are optimised, stable, and fit for purpose.
- Develop and maintain Aurizon’s Enterprise Architecture Framework and technology principles used to govern the technology landscape.
- Lead the integration of technology domains and development of roadmaps working closely with domain owners from across teams.
- Ensure that all work is undertaken within enterprise policies, standards and processes.
- Manage, monitor and analyse commercial and financial performance.
- Leads the EA review board and ensures that the solutions are compliant with target-state architecture models.
- Develop strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Effectively lead cross functional teams of technology architects and specialists ensuring the development of required capabilities.
- Provide expert leadership and technical advice to staff, management and colleagues by keeping abreast of technological developments
About you:
- Relevant tertiary degree
- Certified in leading Enterprise Architecture Framework (TOGAF, Zachman or other)
- Leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.
- Extensive knowledge of IT and business processes and functions of one or more technical speciality.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant principles, policies, procedures and guidelines and how they are implemented within a large and diverse organisation.
- High level of interpersonal, consultation, oral and written communication skills that would apply for dealing with technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders.
- High level of analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills relevant to an enterprise IT environment.
