Spirit Super and CareSuper are pleased to announce that they have entered into a binding agreement to merge the two funds. This comes after an extensive due diligence process, with the merger expected to be completed in late 2024.
About the role.
Reporting to the Manager, Cloud and Architecture, the Enterprise Architect works closely with other architects and the team to develop and mature the architecture practice and associated processes within the business. They will help to drive alignment between business goals and technological solutions, ensuring that IT investments deliver maximum value and drive organisational growth.

- Defining various architectural artifacts and processes to drive adoption and maturity of our architecture function
- Developing various current/target-state strategies and roadmaps to enable business growth and transformation
- Developing and maintaining the Enterprise Architect tool to proactively identify opportunities for application or cost rationalisation
- Staying connected with the latest trends and innovations in the IT industry, and developing plans on how the business might adopt or implement them
- Providing support and guidance to solution architects and various delivery teams across the organization
- Leading the Maturity Business Capability Model in consultation with business stakeholders
- Providing guidance and direction around technology impacts in implications of proposed business initiatives
- Applying a commercial focus on all architecture work to ensure the desired business outcomes are cost-effective
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
We want people with spirit! We are looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in information technology or a related field
- Certification in a public cloud vendor (Azure or AWS)
- TOGAF, COBIT or similar certifications
- Extensive experience in various architect related roles, with at least two years at an Enterprise/Principle or Lead architect level
- Experience working at a high level across multiple architecture domains (business, application, data/integration, and technology)
- Deep understanding of architectural principles, methodologies, and best practices, with the ability to translate objectives into actionable plans
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
