As Enterprise Architect, you will:
- Provide strategic and technical advice and develop briefs and business cases to inform investment decisions, create an ICT Investment Roadmap, and initiate projects that drive digital transformation across the department and brings value to our customers.
- Lead internal digital planning activities, in compliance with whole of government and departmental endorsed frameworks, strategies, standards and methodologies.
- Develop foundation roadmaps, strategies and frameworks, plans and policies using best practice architectural methodologies and in close collaboration with business and technology subject matter experts.
- Research and evaluate trends of digitisation, including new and emerging technologies, and identify opportunities that could deliver new and innovative products and services for our customers.
- Provide strategic recommendations to minimise the departments ICT risk profile
- Clearly articulate the connection between business strategies and enterprise transformation activities
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder support for Enterprise Architecture at all levels of the department, ensuring Enterprise Architecture design processes / rules are known/understood, complied with and commensurate with risk, best practices and lessons learned.
Mandatory requirements
- Previous experience working with the TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Framework and the Queensland Government Enterprise Architecture (QGEA)
- Experience with PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Programs is also highly desirable
- Strong understanding about all phases of the System Development Lifecycle (SDL)
- Broad knowledge of the following technologies and environments:
o MS Power BI, Dynamics, .Net, SQL Server
o Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
o SAP ECC6
o Data Warehouse/Data Lake solutions
