As an Enterprise Risk Manager, you will report directly to the Chief Quality Officer and have one direct report under your supervision. You will be responsible for providing direct line of sight and assurance for the CEO and Chair, Finance, Audit and Risk Committee over all Enterprise Risk matters.
In this integral role, you will lead the enterprise-wide risk management function ensuring that the strategic frameworks and risk systems are effective to identify and mitigate risk that may impact Catholic Healthcare.
Your practical and proactive approach, coupled with your passion for improving organisational resilience and audit systems and processes, will be instrumental in managing an effective Enterprise Risk function.
Your responsibilities will include;
- Conduct a comprehensive review of existing risk management practices throughout the enterprise to identify strengths and weaknesses in the current risk framework and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement an advanced, enterprise-wide risk management framework that adheres to industry best practices.
- Prepare detailed and insightful reports on risk trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities, and make recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders for continuous improvement.
- Establish and operationalise Internal Audit function to identify and assess risks related to aged care operations, including clinical, operational, financial, and reputational risks.
- Partnering with Executive members to facilitate the identification and assessment of existing and emerging business risks
- Developing and/advising on risk mitigation plans to address identified risks
- Implement standardised methodologies and tools to facilitate efficient and thorough audits.
- Fostering a risk-aware culture by promoting awareness and understanding of risk management principles
- Providing effective leadership, coaching, and support to your direct report and peers.
- Min 5+ years demonstrated experience in Enterprise Risk management, within the healthcare or aged care sector
- Strong understanding of aged care regulations, compliance, and quality standards
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as, risk management, or business; a master's degree or relevant certification is preferred
- Knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills
- Must be able to provide evidence or Covid19 Immunisations
