McGrathNicol is a specialist Advisory and Restructuring firm, helping businesses improve performance, manage risk, and achieve stability and growth.We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Manager, preferably with a legal background who will identify, assess and document firm wide risks and associated internal controls, maintaining appropriate risk registers. As well as provide support for queries in relation to contractual terms and conditions variations and confidentiality agreements with our clients. Open for the role being full time or 4 days per week.You will report into the Chief Operating Officer and the Risk and Professional Practice Partner of the firm.Closing Date

- Provide support for queries in relation to contractual terms and conditions variations and confidentiality agreements with our clients.
- Maintain risk policy framework; integrate existing policy and oversee a program for review of all policies and update and maintain the firm's risk registers.
- Develop and implement an annual Risk Management Plan.
- Provide input into national and local Induction and Learning & Development (L&D) programs.
- Involvement in the Quality Review Program and other internal compliance/audit programs.
- Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements i.e. Australian Financial Services license and ISO 9001 certification.
- Coordinate relationship with insurers for the cover applicable to insolvency engagements and provide administrative support for Professional Indemnity renewal process.
- Hold a bachelor's degree, legal background would be highly desirable.
- Professional services experience preferred.
- Familiar with international standards for risk management and quality.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present high quality, concise information and to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Able to develop and deliver compelling and persuasive presentations / training.
- Proven ability to anticipate and resolve problems with practical and positive solutions.
